Original Description:
Extremely rare carriage clock.  Keeps accurate time and winds properly.  The Galt name came from Edith Galt who married president Woodrow Wilson in 1915. This could have been made in France for the Galt Bro. Jewelry Store in Washington  D C  which is no longer in business. You can check EBAY for the Galt Brothers items. You can google the Galt Bro and read the entire article about the Jewelry Store closing in 2001. Solid brass.  Measures  5 /12 high  ...3 1/2 wide and  2 1/2 deep. From local estate sale.
