This is a vintage Japanese pottery tea bowl of Hagi ware, which was made by one of the greatest potters of Hagi ware, the 10th Koraizaemon Saka (1890-1958) in 1954.He was the one of the greatest potters of Hagi ware in those age, and the Emperor and loyal families officially ordered his works to him.
In addition, he was recognized as the human treasure with valuable technique (the old system of Japanese Human National Treasure) from Japanese government.
The original wooden box with the signature of the potter and his profile are also included.
