Life Size 19" Antique Germany Bisque Head K * R Simon Halbig 126 with a Wobble Tongue . The eyes have broken away from the dolls head. I lifted the wig and found that one eye cleanly broke off (see pic) and it slides back onto the metal pin nicely but will need to be re-attached (see pic). The eye mechanism has a long piece of metal that I assume makes this a flirty eye doll so he can glance off to one side. Very nice paint on the face - glue and hair stuck... here and there around the head socket where some of the hair has lifted. Wig looks to probably be original to the doll - it's a mess and though there is lots of hair it's thinning in places. No breaks, chips, hairlines or repairs on the bisque head. The body is very nice and very sturdy. Some discoloration on the composition but the doll has all of it's fingers and toes. Beautiful doll ! Needs the eyes attached! Yellowed gown is vintage/old but not original to the doll.
