Rare antique Chinese GeYao 哥窑 crackle drip glaze porcelain bowl.The deep serrated edge bowlis completely covered with the rare Ge Yao glaze. Darker where the edges are and lighter inother area. Small crackles under the glaze everywhere.The rim is not glazed as thebowl was fired standing up.Ge ware was one of the top fiveChinese kilns originated from the Song Dynasty. The original Song Ge wares (960-1279)are very rare or if they exist. Later Ge ware were made throughout the Mi...ng andQing Dynasty. This bowl was made around 1900s.Condition is very good. Tiny repair on the rim.Diameter across the top: 16.5cmHeight: 9 cmWeight: 512 grams'Most of my collection isone of a kind. I bought the items because I liked it for myself.
