Original Description:
"Cheese!" is a limited edition etching by Italian street artist Ericailcane aka Eric the Dog, created for his 2009 exhibition "Man Is the Bastard" at Carmichael Gallery in Los Angeles. Ericailcane lives in Bologna and frequently collaborates with his friend Blu. This a very rare piece, limited to an edition of 13.
The etching depicts a rat dressed in an old-fashioned suit, regarding us calmly as it stands with arms crossed and one foot upon a sprung mouse trap that has caught a doll...ar bill. The rat holds a wedge of cheese in its paw, just having liberated the cheese the trap was baited with.
