We are listing today a lovely Antique early 20th century c. 1930 Wolverine Zilotone Tin Wind Up Musical Clown Automation Toy. This toy is in Excellent Condition, showing it's age with some surface wear and surface rust to the xylophone steel bars. The clown needs to be secured at his feet on the moving circular disc, sometimes he slips out of the vertical bar for movement. The toy winds and plays fine, no issues, both bars for moving the clown and having the clown pla...y the xylophone with the mallet work, just without the playing song discs they do not engage. The toy measures 6 3/4" tall x 7 1/2" wide x 9" deep and weighs approximately 1lb 14oz. Wonderful tin lithograph to the front of the toy as well as the clown, the keys have label tabs at the fronts. Made by the Wolverine Supply & Manufacturing Co. in the early 1930's, this rare Automation Wind Up Toy would make a great addition to anyone's collection or home.
