For the Eb clarinet players of the world, this is a really cool find! A vintage metal Eb clarinet that plays very well in tune at 440 or 443! Very nice sound, surprisingly warm. Could be a good Klezmer clarinet!
Silver plated with a custom made barrel. The barrel that I received with the instrument was not the original and didn't play well at all. I made this barrel to play easily in tune with the rest of the wo...rld. I have over 50 years playing Eb clarinets; 20 years with the US Naval Academy Band as their Eb clarinetist.
This is a very playable instrument that has been completely rebuilt. All new pads including cork pads on all but the lowest 4 keys. All new key corks and tenon corks. Comes with a vintage French-made Bundy 3 mouthpiece with cap and ligature. Old NOT ORIGINAL case. The case is for a Pedler Eb clarinet.
I rebuilt this instrument to play easily and in tune. Very nice feel in the keys.
