UP FOR SALE IS AN EXTREMELY RARE AND VERY SCARCE ANTIQUE CIRCA 1910 - 1915 ART NOUVEAU - ARTS & CRAFTS ( CHARLES PARKER LAMP COMPANY ) HEAVY BRONZE METAL TABLE LAMP WITH ORIGINAL REVERSE PAINTED CATTAIL MARSH SCENE ART GLASS SHADE WITH A DIAMETER OF 15.5" INCHES AND TOTAL HEIGHT OF 22.5" INC...HES
Art Nouveau and Arts & Crafts Era - Bradley & Hubbard , Pittsburgh , Moe Bridges , Pairpoint , Handel , Tiffany SELLER NOTES CONDITION AS FOLLOWS:WOW!!! BEAUTIFUL CONDITION!!! THE LAMP IS SHOWING NORMAL SIGNS OF USAGE AND WEAR WHICH IS APPROPRIATE WITH THE AGING PROCESS SUCH AS SOME LIGHT WEAR TO THE ORIGINAL BRONZE FINISH!!! THE GLASS SHADE IS IN AMAZING CONDITION WITH ABSOLUTELY NO CRACKS WHATSOEVER AND THE HAND PAINTED SCENE INSIDE OF THE LAMP IS GORGEOUS WITH BRIGHT COLORS ADN WITHOUT ANY LOSS OF PAINT!!! THE ORIGINAL GREEN WOOL FELT WITH SILK FABRIC LABEL IS ON THE BOTTOM OF THE LAMP WHICH READS: ( THE CHARLES PARKER CO. ) THE LAMP RETAINS THE ORIGINAL FABRIC CORD WHICH IS MISSING THE OUTER LAYER OF FABRIC AND STILL HAS THE ORIGINAL BLACK RUBBER PLUG. ONE OF THE SOCKETS IS THE ORIGINAL "PAULDING" BUT THE OTHER ONE IS A VINTAGE REPLACEMENT "EAGLE" WHICH WAS REPLACED A VERY LONG TIME AGO!!! THERE IS A COUPLE OF VERY SMALL DENTS ON THE METAL FINIAL WHICH DOES NOT TAKE AWAY FROM THE INTEGRITY OF THE PIECE AT ALL!!! OVERALL, I RATE THIS LAMP AN 8 OUR OF 10 AS FAR AS AESTHETICS ARE CONCERNED!!! IT IS SUCH A GORGEOUS LAMP WHICH WILL ADD A BEAUTIFUL SOFT GLOW TO YOUR DEN OR BEDROOM!!!
