This is an original Korean War North American F-86 Sabre Fighter Jet Pilot's weapons center instrument console assembly. This is what was mounted between the pilot's legs between the rudder pedals. It has a control for the gunsight and a control for the weapons selection. It is missing the other panels that had several switches on them. It also has a long shaft with a red handle that is pulled out and attached to the pilots control stick to used as flight control lock ...when the aircraft is parked. This assembly is is 22 x 14 x 8 inches. The F-86 was the first successful fighter to take on the famous MIG-17 during the Korean War. With its 6 50 cal. machine guns in the nose the F-86 was a mean fighting machine. The Sabre Jet ended the Korean War with a very high kill ratio against the MIG-17. Today the F-86 is a prized warbird and several still fly in civilian hands. We accept payment by PayPal in US dollars only.
