Antique International Du Barry Sterling Silver Infant Feeding Spoon No Mono 5. 5 "
Item History & Price

I have... been hoarding and nice old Antique and Vintage sterling silver flatware for the last 35 years, only saving what I thought was cool, unusual, or just pretty. It's now time to start selling it all, so now the best pieces first...
This is a pretty rare item in the silver flatware business. It is an infant feeding spoon. Not a spoon that the child would use, himself, but one with a small bowl, and a longer handle, so the nanny or parent could feed a small baby, and not have to get way up close. Ingenious, I think.
It's also in a great pattern, and in wonderful condition, without any monogramms, or names engraved into it. It is the Du Barry pattern from International Silver, and has lots of repousse work all the way down the handle to the bowl, with the same amount on the back of the spoon.
Best of all, no mono, front or back, and none removed.
It measures 5 & 1/2" in length, and is near mint, and ready to use.
There is no damage, bends, or repair marks. This is ALL original.
I will always combine shipping on purchases of multiple items.
Please note that any item that is altered in any way after purchase, whether buy the buyer or by the seller, it can not be returned under any circumstances. This means that I you shorten a bracelet, or resize a ring, I Will not take it back. Please be sure you want what you have bought, before you change it in any way.
Thank you,
