ANTIQUE TWO GALLON COBALT SLIP DECORATED SALT GLAZED STONEWARE CROCKFRANKLIN WOODWORTH POTTERYBURLINGTON, VERMONT1872-1895This is a nice two gallon signed and decorated salt glaze circa 1872-1895 preserve storage crock. It measures 11-1/2" tall with a diameter of 7-1/4" at the top, 8-3/4" at the bottom, and weighs 8.8 pounds. It features:
a nice variable color gray salt glaze on... the exteriorAlbany style glazed interiora 1'' tall flattened roll rimstamp-signed and decorated on one side shouldercobalt slip stylized leaf on one sidepotter's finger grooves visible insidecrescent shaped side lug handlesThe crock is in excellent condition showing no separations, chips, hairlines, spider lines or repairs.
