Telechron General Electric AB3F56 "VOGUE", Rehabbed. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.Solid copper and Bakelite GE Telechron clock. 1934-1937. REHABBED. The movement was taken apart, cleaned, oiled. The F rotor was noisy even after oiling so I tapped it, solvent cleaned it, oiled with synthetic oil and then solder sealed it. A lot quieter running for a somewhat rare F Rotor.
The copper case was carefully stripped by hand. A lot o...f manual labor. It was then buffed to a satin like finish and lacqered. The Bakelite base was cleaned, polished.
This model clock is known for paint peeling on the face due to the original painting directly to the metal face. I touched up the few blemishes. The crystal bezel was stripped and repainted. A new age appropriate power cord was installed.This clock took about 4 to 5 hours to do it justice. It now looks like it was just put out on display for sale for the first time. I really like this unique clock. No room on my shelves so it needs a new home.48 states, Paypal only.
