Exceptional US Navy Watch Officer’s Guide, published by the US Naval Institute in Annapolis in 1941, just before the start of US involvement in World War II. This was used by a sailor named Wickhorst during the War. Condition is exceptional when one thinks of where it was used and it’s age. There is no water damage, coffee stains or coffee mug rings. Spine is not broken and there are no dog ears or marks other than the gentleman’s name on the side of the pages. Perfect gift for r...ecent Academy graduate or newly sworn sailor as an historic tribute for heroes of days past. Includes original Table of Honors which is in perfect condition. This is not meant for modern use. However, if one were to look for a WWII used Guide this is a very fine example.
