Titled and Dated 1948 in Left Margin and This is a Later Edition Hand Printed on Traditional ...Washi from the Original 1948 Hand Carved Woodblocks by the Famous Watanabe Woodblock Print Company.
SIGNATURE: Hasui with Round Red Sui Seal Below.ABOUT THE ARTIST: KAWASE HASUI Lived from 1883 until 1957. He is Most Highly Regarded for the Exquisite Colour, Amazing Perspective and Inspiring Ambiance of his Wide Range of Landscape Woodblocks. During his Life he Created Over 600 Different Woodblock Scenes and he is Recognised as one of Most Prolific and Most Talented of Shin Hanga Artists from the Early 20th Century. It is no wonder that a Year Prior to his Death he was Honoured with the Title of a Living National Treasure.
