Here is something I have never seen before, this is an exquisite piece which looks like a business card or letter holder, perhaps a keepsake of some sort, I am not sure. It has a slide off lid and a very narrow space which one would assume is a business card holder. This is made completely of bone, and is so intricately carved it is absolutely amazing. It features trees and homes and people within frames. What I can make out are people in different scenes doing different tasks in an O...riental setting. Again, I have never seen anything like this before, but it is fascinating how someone could actually carve something so amazing. The dimensions are 4" x 2 1/8" x 1/2". I have provided many photos to show the detail on this. As you can see, there is a piece that has come off that will need repair, but it does not take away from this beautiful treasure.
