Please notice this is just a quilt TOP: it is NOT a finished quilt or bedspread, as there is no batting or backing beneath the pieced fabrics shown in the photos.
The fabrics are mostly feed sacks; the exceptions are very thing cotton fabrics, almost translucent, that might be older than the feed sacks and whose name (the name of that type of fabric) we don't know. Several of the swatches are clearly visible on the close-ups, but there is one that we selected to show, in case ...you missed the others: please take a look at pic # 11, the left of center square with a blue triangular shape with stars pointing up to a shining sun: that one is the type of fabric whose name we don't know.
The piecing was done by hand.
This is a very old, antique quilt top; it measures 82" by 70" across; the bed is a queen, 80" by 60".
We combine shipping.
