Vintage Pioneer Model PL-550 Direct Drive Turntable The Original Pioneer manual is included. It has Slight Discolorations, some Folds, but Complete.
(Has an imperfection about (2") Long where a Mouse Must Have attacked it on the Last Page)
A Slight "Nick" on Front (Bottom Left) Where a Piece of the Wood Grain Missing (See Photos)
The Original PC-550E Mark - ll (Made in Japan) Cartridge, Stylus, & Extra Screw inside the Realistic Box
A Shure Cartridge w/3x Stylus is Installed on Turntable (Possibly the Realistic Shure 42-2767) from the Box
Original Pioneer (45 RPM) Adapter w/Plastic Bag included
Dust Cover is Clear (No Cracks) and Shows Slight Signs of Surface Scratches from Normal Use
Turntable is In amazing un-restored condition with Original manual. Acquired from the original owner's estate. A Retired U.S. Air Force Officer
This is an amazing piece! I Tested this Turntable as Follows: (1) Wiped the Unit down with soft Cloth, (2) Removed the Mat & Wiped it as Clean as Possible (Unit Looks Brand New Under Mat), Removed Clear Dust Cover & Cleaned with Soft Cloth, (3) Replaced Mat & Dust Cover, (4) Plugged to Digital Amp w/Ground, (5) Plugged to Electricity, (6) Placed an "Elvis" (45 Rpm) on Platter, (7) Released the Tone Arm, (8) Listened to the Amazing Quality of the Pioneer PL-550 thru a set of Headphone... WoW, (9) Checked the Quartz Lock (Worked), (10) Changed to (33) Speed (Worked), Turned on/Off Several Times (Worked)
Only Thing I can Say is... WoW

You May want to Replace the Stylus to fit your Listening Pleasure. This One Works but I would Love to hear the Original Cartridge with a New Stylus installed!
