Serial # 47150 - Circa late 1940s

I bought this good looking old trombone intending to use it in an art project but after looking it over
it seemed to be too good to retire to a non-musical life so I am offering it one time to musicians who might like to restore a great-looking vintage instrument.
This is an un-serviced trombone just as it was ...found but it seems to function well and has no dents.  
The slide seems to hesitate when extended past about one foot but I'm not a player and perhaps it is supposed to do that.The slide lock is missing and there is no mouthpiece or case included.
The last photo above shows a small area where I wiped the lacquer off easily with a rag
and lacquer thinner.  I left the rest because if I end up using it I want it to look old.You can easily give it a bright polish if you buy it.
