This offering is for a 7” Germany marked all bisque doll in wonderful condition. The doll has a five piece body with jointed arms and legs. Her stationary blue eyes have tiny hand painted lashes and eyebrows. The bisque is of a light color with blushed cheeks. There is a rub on one cheek — exaggerated by the camera flash. Dolly has a perky nose, a closed mouth smile and a chin dimple. Her hair is just her style—a vintage synthetic auburn colored wig with long braids. ...Her body is in excellent condition with minuscule tiny unseen chips on the undersides of a few fingers. The stringing is perfect. The legs have white painted shirred stockings that contrast nicely with her tan Mary Jane style shoes with small heels. The back is incised “Germany / 6543.” The dress is made of fine lawn weight cotton—white with a blue music cleft like pattern with small green round green dots (notes?). The bodice is fitted and the sleeves are 3/4 length. The bodice is decorated with lace and tiny green real buttons that match the fabric’s green dots. A wide belted sash is the top of a separate apron, trimmed in lace.The apron extends to the back—very cute. The wide skirt is perfectly pleated on all sides. The dress is in excellent condition with no damage or mends. Dolly wears a dated pair of plain cotton pantaloons. What a doll! Perfect for a collection and guaranteed to fully meet your expectations.
