Antique 1862 J Gault Encased Postage Stamp Ayers Sarsaparilla 3 Cents
This is an antique 1862 J. Gault 3 Cent Encased Postage Stamp for Ayer's Sarsaparilla. The postage stamp (George Washington) is encased in metal with mica covering. The mica covering does have 2 minute cracks and 1 tiny piece missing near the top of Washington's head - the stamp color is vibrant. The back says Ayer's Sarsaparilla To Purify The Blood Pat Aug 12 1862 J. Gault. The encased p...ostage stamp measures approximately 1" in diameter. Nice clean antique 1862 J. Gault 3 cent encased postage stamp for Ayer's Sarsaparilla that displays absolutely great!

Excellent 1862 J. Gault 3 cent encased postage stamp. Mica covering has 2 minute cracks and 1 tiny piece missing near the top of Washington's head. Postage stamp has strong vibrant color with no fading or stains. Metal has great patina with no rust apparent. Nice clean antique 1862 J.
