Original Description:
Carte-de-visite format albumen photos caught on inthe late 1850s. During the Civil War with soldiers being men one of the firstthings they took pictures of was...... Naked Ladies, of course. The CDV photo engraving shown here is a commercialproduct of the mid 1860s or 1870s. This one has no backmark but there is a namehandwritten on the back that I cannot make out. Our nude girl lounges in a woodedscene.
