2015 CANADA 20 Dollars 100th Ann. of In Flanders Fields Proof Fine Silver Coin 2015 marked the 100th anniversary of the venerated poem written by Canadian physician Lt Col. John McCrae amid the Second Battle of Ypres in May of 1915. McCrae, with his poem, gave a voice to the 60, 000 soldiers lost in the First World War. Part of this year's commemorative series includes this $20 fine silver coin engraved with a design that evokes the first few lines of McCrae's work.
