This is a 2 Reale "Piece of Eight" Silver Coin from the Nuestra Señora De Atocha Shipwreck that occurred in 1622 near the Florida Keys. This is a GRADE 2 Potosi Minted coin (Bolivia) with a weight of 5.50 grams. This coin was minted during the reign of Philip III (1598-1621) in which the coin displays a simplified Hapsburg Shield on the obverse. The Assayer's Mark and Mint Mark are not visible on this coin.
