What is an ICCS holder with a 2-letter certification number? ICCS is the most popular third party coin grading (TPG) service for Canadian coins. Some collectors believe that ICCS' high grading standards used to be even more strict than they are today, possibly causing coins graded in 'old' coin flips to be under graded. Modern day ICCS coins use... a 3-letter (and 3-digit) certification number (eg. ABC 123). 'Old' ICCS coins were packaged using a 2-letter (and 3-digit) certification number (eg. AB 123).
