Up for auction is a rare original USGI Nickel steel Springfield '03 bolt. The stripped bolt is in good, used condition, with finish wear. The swept back handle bolt is clearly marked with "NS" on the top of the bolt root, a "2" and hardness peen on the underside, and a "1" on the extractor- see detailed pics. The bolt face and lugs appear to be in excellent condition. The bolt is stripped, and includes the extractor and collar only. These bolts were used on both standard Springfi...eld 1903s and National Match rifles in the interwar period, although I am unsure about specific serial ranges. An excellent addition to your '03!
