Up for sale is this vintage MacGregor H612 7 1/8" leather football helmet! A popular style helmet used on the college level especially at Notre Dame post war into the 1950's. The helmet exterior has numerous nicks, scrapes and abrasions but with very little interior damage and is still in good overall condition. There was once a face guard as the holes below the ear hole show the imprinted form of the face guard supports but has since been detached. Great for collectors, display or rug...ged game day use!
