This listing is for a vintage 1986 signed bronze highly detailed casting of a Otter head. On the back of the artwork it is signed Trent Meyer 1986 & the numbers 23 & 1500. It stands approximately 5 inches tall and is approx. 4 1/2 inches wide at the base. The piece is in great vintage condition, and is very heavy for its size. It weighs in at a whopping 4 pounds 8 ounces. At first I thought it was a Beaver but my grandkids corrected me and said it was an Otter, so I think they'...re right. When looking up the artist I found the following information: "Trent's experiences as a taxidermist and photographer are carried over into the anatomical detail, facial expressions and realism in his bronze sculptures. His pieces are sought after around the world. His travels have taken him exploring throughout the United States, Alaska and international travels through parts of Africa, Canada, Indonesia, Taiwan, Mexico and the Middle East."
