This is a large lot of four (4) ancient Roman Jewish artifact pottery pieces from Israel and used for common house hold things such as spices, fish sause and olive oil etc. The four pieces all have broken areas but there is no catastrophic damage. All the broken pieces are there. In Israel, these are repaired using basic Elmer's glue. I actually fit several of the pieces back in place to see for myself. They held pretty good even without glue. You ca...n repair these on a work bench easy enough but in Israel, many excavators repair these by filling them with sand first and then placing sand all around the outside of it to hold the pieces in place as the glue hardens. A simple but effective way to repair these pieces. You could also display them being broken as well in a nice diorama scene of an ancient Judea village. You can also let children repair these over and over again for teaching lessons by using a dissolvable glue, so the pieces can be taken apart again. For a size comparison, the vessel on the far right is 6 inches tall and the second vessel from the left is 5.25 inches wide.
