For sale please find this important 197-page hard-covered publication entitled, "Ancient Coin Collecting" by noted author and numismatist Wayne B. Sayles. The book is the first of several in the series, and was published by Krause Publications, WI, in 1996. This book is aimed primarily at new collectors and wannabe collectors and gives a great overview of the types of ancient coins out there that can be the subject of one's collecting focus. The book contains many coin... photos throughout (black and white) along with maps, charts, lists and drawings. The book is in excellent condition with no rips, tears or markings that I can see. There is a light spot on the cover at the bottom and inside the cover is a small label from a previous owner. It lives in a smoke free environment. Please see photographs of contents and coin samples.
