Original Description:
This is a super rare and almost impossible to find Malayan Communist insurgent's cap dating from the early 1950's.This war was known as the Malayan Emergency and involved British Commonwealth troops fighting Malayan Communist guerillas in the jungle. The Communists were inspired by Mao Zedong's Communists and received support from China. The cap is similar to Chinese Communist caps of the time but also distinctly different. I have only ever seen one other example of these caps for sale... in my life. An excellent and rare Cold War collectible not to be missed!
