Do not let this rare Regency TR-1 slip by.Nice looking cosmetic condition as seen in photos.Dials turn easily.
Please refer to photos for condition as it is the exact item you will receive.Nice looking cosmetic condition as seen in photos. An already repaired crack is seen in the left bottom of the radio. Please see the fifth photo.
The Regency crown gold logo and the "Regency" name ...show minor wear associated with normal use and age.Inside of the case looks just as nice as the outside. The radio is repaired and replaced some of the electrolytic capacitors which are installed at the back of the circuit board. The original capacitors are still on the board in order to keep the original shape. Please see photo of the inside of the case.
This radio works and receive several AM stations.I tested tree types of batteries, serial connected "006" 9 volt batteries, serial connected 12 volt batteries, and formal 22.5 volt battery. Please see the last photo. The volume of the radio is about half of the normal level in case of 22.5 volt battery.Condition of the radio sometimes changes, and reception sometimes becomes unstable. These batteries are just examples - do not include batteries to this auction.
Thank you.
