The patterns continue over the length ofthe Gandar (sheath). The equally beautifully carvedPrabu Ukiran (hilt) adorns the top, trimmed with an Ancup Randu mendak(intermediate ring). The jet-black, antique Wilah(blade) is forged to Brojol dapur. The Empu (master forger) has clearly chosento forge the Wilah with Kelengan pamor so that the unprecedented beauty of thehilt, Warangka and Gandar, would not be lost.
