Here is a terrific find from a 65-year-old woman who had this doll as a girl. This large doll is marked on the back of her head Amer. Char. Doll Co. 1959. She stands approximately 35 inches tall. She has sleepy eyes that work well, face paint is in good ...shape. Her arms do not hold a pose, perhaps need to be restrung. She is wearing her blue dress with Peter Pan collar and matching bloomers - elastic is stretched out on bloomers. She has a pinafore over her dress with lace trim. Clothes are in good shape - I do see a tear on the bottom lace of the pinafore. She has been played with but is in overall good condition. No odors - from a smoke-free home.
