Vintage Art Deco Pink Silk Screen Print Butterfly Fringe Shawl Scarf Stole Wrap
This vintage Art Deco pink silk screen print butterfly fringe shawl scarf stole wrap dates from the 1920s. It is made of a pink silk fabric, with a colorful silk screen print design of butterflies in flight along the bottom. This fabulous flapper shawl style scarf stole wrap cape has hand knotted pink silk fringe trim edging along the three sides, with the top unfringed. It ha...s an Art Nouveau Orientalism Japanese inspired style. The shawl measures 66 inches wide, 35 inches long, with 6 inch long fringe trim. It is in excellent condition. This is truly a wonderful piece of Japonism wearable art!
