Vintage Art Deco Chinoiserie Silk Orientalism Print Flapper Kimono Robe Coat
This vintage Art Deco Chinoiserie silk Orientalism print flapper kimono robe coat dates from the 1920s. It is made of an off white cream color silk crepe de chine fabric, with a bright colorful silk screen Chinoiserie Orientalism inspired print of flowers, maple leaf and decorative Art Deco geometric meandering border designs. This fabulous flapper long kimono robe coat has an open front with no closure onl...y a single remaining snap on one side, long full sleeves and is fully in a cream color silk lining with a "Made in Japan" label sewn inside. The robe measures 38 inches long, with a 46 inch bust and 46 inch waist. It is in good as-is condition with a few small faint stains, some fraying along the front opening edging, frayed splits on the inside silk lining, two tiny frayed holes on the shoulder seam and bottom back. This is truly an amazing piece of Orientalism Japonism, Chinosierie wearable art! Items are described as accurately as possible, sold as found, possibly having some imperfections and flaws.
