Take a trip back to the 1990s with this nice vintage Gateway 486 SX-33. I bought this a few months ago from a company the recycles old office computers, and this looks like it was used by a construction company, there are still some spreadsheets and invoices from their work in the 1990s and early 2000s on the hard drive. I used it for some old DOS games, and it works great for those.
Apart from some scratches and yellowed plastic it is in great shape for it's age and exce...pt for the CMOS battery and power button that I replaced it is in absolutely original condition.
Specs:
Intel 486-SX 33 CPU, Western Digital AC2200F 202MB IDE HDD, 5.25 and 3.5 in FDDs, 8MB RAM. Western Digital WD90C31 LR VGA, Original MS-DOS 5.0 with DOSSHELL installed
Tests performed: Boot from HDD, Boot from 3.5" Floppy, boots into original MS-DOS. Launches installed software from HDD. Ran various benchmarks and DOS games successfully (see pictures)
Very sturdy, all metal desktop case.
