For sale at auction without reserve is this antique solid silver 13 jewel key wind J. W. Benson of London pocket watch for repair. The watch runs but because it stops and goes its selling for repair. It also has a persons name etched inside the back case Although this is a key wind watch a key is not available.
Good clean white enamel dial in nice condition with black roman numerals. Named J.W. Benson London.
Solid silver case which is also made by Benson in reasonable condit...ion. The hinges are still strong allowing the covers to close tightly. Good size diameter being 52mm and 76mm if you include the unworn bow. There are a few dings on the back case, and surface scratches to the glass, i think the watch has given very good service.
