For sale without reserve is this high quality solid silver J.W. Benson of London pocket watch. Fine quality 15 jewel micro regulator movement with screwed down jewels and compensated balance wheel. The watch is running strong and keeping good time, although this is not guaranteed as i don't know when it was last serviced. The watch winds and sets smoothly by the crown.
Good white enamel dial with black roman numerals and seconds subsidiary dial. Signed J.W. Benson of... London the condition is excellent without damage or hairlines.
Solid silver case with London hallmark and import stamp for 1919. The case is also stamped with Bensons initials and number 2076614. Very nice condition case with strong hinges and without any dents or deep scratches. Good size case with diameter of 50mm and 70mm if you include the bow.
Very tidy attractive watch from a famous maker going into auction without reserve and just .99p start.
