Bound in full contemporary panelled leather, and measures ap...prox. 20cm x 13cm x 2.3cm. The binding is a bit grubby, marked and worn, and the extremities are rubbed, worn and bumped. The font and rear hinges are splitting and worn and are shaky. Some adhesive looks to have been crudely applied to the front hinge, and it has slightly impaired movement. The spine covering is surface worn and scuffed, and decoration and titles are worn. Internally, there is a previous owner's bookplate to the front pastedown, with some pencil to the top corner. The front free endpaper is missing, and the imprimatur leaf has been crudely partially stuck to the inner edge of front board, resulting in several small tear to the inner edge and impaired movement see images. The top corner of the imprimatur leaf has been trimmed away. The title page is a little grubby to verso. The contents have some light browning and toning throughout, heavier to a few leaves or small sections. There are a few scattered rust spots, smudge or marks. There is some worming tot he top inner margin corners to the second half of the work, in varying degrees, see images. There is some corner creasing to rear. Else in reasonable condition.
