This is such a beautiful and unique piece.
Some of the gold gilt finish has worn off over the years. (This is common with all the pieces I've seen posted.) There's a little bit of patina to the metal which I love and have not attempted to clean or polish. The front of the owl and the enamel are in excellent condition. The pin and clasp function as they should.
