My grandfather had a radio and refrigeration shop from the 1930s-1980s. I have many of his radios from his personal collection, which I will be listing. Please check back for additional listings. I also have a lot of "new old stock" tubes, if you're interested in any of them.

I've been told that it's not a good idea to turn on a radio that hasn't been used in a long tim...e without doing certain steps, and since I don't know what to do, I haven't done any testing on this radio. My grandfather had a radio and refrigeration shop from the 1930s-1980s. This radio is from his personal collection. The radio has been stored at my mom's house, and she used to smoke more than 14 years ago. Here are the things I see, but please see the pictures, too, in case I missed something: There are some scratches on the wooden case, and there is some corrosion on the metal hinges.

The serial number on the metal plate inside the lid is 119082.This radio is approximately 7" tall x 8.5" wide x 7.25" deep.It weighs about 4 pounds and 10 ounces.The Radiomuseum website states that the case in mahogany.
