For auction-a vintage 1950s American Character Tiny Betsy McCall doll, 8" tall, wearing all original clothing. Her hair is in perfect set with original barrettes. She has dark golden blonde hair and brown sleep eyes. Eyes do not stick. Her face paint and lashes are lovely. Cheeks have a lovely blush. Betsy is jointed at her neck, shoulders, hips and knees. There are no splits in the hard plastic at the seams. Plastic color is even and original. She is wearing a light blue net dress wit...h an embroidered slip underneath. Dress, panties, shoes and socks are all original to the doll. Clothing is near mint. No issues. Love is very good. I found only the difficult to bend right knee and the small spot on the back of her right leg just above the knee. I did wipe the spot with a moist cloth and it did not come off but I did not use any cleaning products to try to remove it. May come off. this doll came to me from the original owner who never played with her. She is a lovely doll.
Condition-excellent. All original clothing in near mint condition. No issues. Dolls has lovely blushed cheeks no damage to face paint of lashes. Tightly strung. Eyes no not stick. Orig. shoes socks and panties with no issues. No crotch split or any vinyl splits. the only issue I have found is the right knee is a little stiff and does not bend easily. I did not try to force it. Also a light small brown dot on the back of her left leg just above the knee. I did not try to remove it.Thank you so much for viewing my listing.
