This “Dixie” cap gun was made in 1890 with a 3 star rating for rarity. It is described in Sam Logan/Charles Best book “Cast Iron Toy Guns and Cap Shooters” on page 48 (D16.1.1) This cap gun is 51/2 inches in length. It is a single shot, single action, which means it has to be cocked every time to fire it. On the left side of the gun the word “DIXIE” is clearly embossed and on the right side the words PAT JUNE 17’90 USA. This gun is in excellent condition. Please refer t...o the pictures. This is a toy cap gun. It cannot be altered to shoot any type of projectile. Buy As Is: No Returns
