This “KING” cap gun was made in 1880 with a 3 star rating for rarity. It is described in Sam Logan/Charles Best book “Cast Iron Toy Guns and Cap Shooters” on page 82 (K6.1.2) This cap gun is 4 3/4 inches in length. It is a single shot, single action, which means it takes a single small cap and has to be cocked every time to fire it. On one side of the gun the word “KING” is clearly embossed and it has a flower and beautiful scroll work on both sides of the gun. This gun is... in excellent condition. Please refer to the pictures. This is a toy cap gun. It cannot be altered to shoot any type of projectile.This replica gun contains the colored markings required by law, including a permanently attached orange plug."
