Lingg & Bro., established dealers in watches and jewelry, acquired a token and medal manufacturing business in 1873. They produced a number of generic dies with Centennial themes that were used to strike trade tokens for merchants around 1876. This artistic medal was produced a few years later in celebration of the bicentennial of Penn's Treaty, a peace treaty between colonials and indians signed in 1682. This medal is also known in copper and whi...te metal. I copied this from another listing on ebay. I believe this is the white medal. I know the token medal is not in very good condition but a very neat piece of history. Low start with no reserve. We are a family owned jewelry store that has been in business since 1902 (117 years). We are offering a money back guarantee, minus shipping, if you are not completely satisfied.
