-----We offer for your consideration a gently displayed 1960s Madame Alexander 17" Polly face, Leslie, doll with her original tagged bride gown. She is not tagged Elise, and she has the same exact face as the 1965 Polly doll we listed from the same collection. She seems to be a Polly face doll, which is especially rare because she was only manufactured in the one year of 1965. She is incredibly radiant with stunning engaging brown eyes framed by molded and painted eyelashes. Her h...air is factory fresh, or close to it, and just glowing. She is so rare I have never seen another Polly face bride, and to find a pretty dark skinned Polly is a true treasure.---------This doll is one of hundreds of dolls we bought from an adult lady collector downsizing her estate. Please note, she is as close to factory fresh as you can find for an almost 50 year-old doll out of the box. The doll was stored in a cool dark room in her pet and smoke free house. Her two layers of skirt are in incredible condition. The snap buttons are well attached and close easily. The fabric is exquisite with no apparent rips, holes, or snags visible anywhere. I could find no traace of sun or age discoloration spots anywhere; however, you will note that the whole dress evenly aged and is not bright white like it was originally. It is a nice vintage off-white. Of course, the satin ribbon tie shows minor fray on the bottom edge. Also, I noticed she may be missing several sequins from the top right deign near her colllar.-----------Please note her easy open and close eyes are lovely and unclouded. Her eyelashes are ultra long. Her face is highly and evenly blushed with even coloration throughout her face, torso, and limbs. She still wears her factory hair style in mostly a neat and tidy coiffe. The metal (?) is very vintage and probably not original. Her hair pins holding her hair in place seem to be original. Her earrings are intact, and they did not cause any green ears. Her necklace is very displayable. She does have two factory placed pins on either side of her temples, which holds her veil in place. She also has a pin in the place of her metal band in the back. ----------Her coloration is much more bright and blushed than she appears in her photos. Her one slipper with heel is intact and beautiful with her perfect pantyhose. Unfortunately, one of her shoes is missing in action. Her clean panties could use a refreshed elastic. Her veil is a work of art with no noticeable damage. Her corsage is intact, slightly crushed in appearance, off-white, andhas minor fraying at the bottom of the ribbons. The whole doll and her outfit is free of odors, issues, or blemishes.----------She is truly one of a kind in her condition. Her face is colored exactly the same as her torso and limbs. Her lips and cheeks are highly blushed. Enjoy her easy clear and unclouded open and close eyes with complete eyelashes. She shows no damage, chews, stains, marks, or splits. Her arms hold a pose nicely, and her legs are nice and stiff with no looseness. She is well attached everywhere. I checked her over visually. I assure you she is complete and whole. -----Please write with any questions. We know you will feel pleased with adding this doll to your collection.
