Antique Gebruder Heubach Fine Dome Bisque Head Character Baby Boy Doll 9" Germany 1900sThis fabulous rarer small size Gebruder Heubach character baby boy dolls solid dome head is in very good condition with molded blonde. He has the most exquisite face paint with intaglio blue eyes and light brown lid lines, rosy cheeks, button nose, and pouty closed mouth. He has a lovely serene angelic expression. The back of his head is incised with " 0 / sunburst mark / 76 DEP 02 / Germany and in ...green stamped 70 ".He comes on his original 5 piece bent leg baby body and he still has the fine red lines that define his finger and toe nails. In good condition. Very slightly dirty as you would expect for a doll this age. Right foot has had a small repair and has been repainted. Left hand has been reattached at some point ( good smooth join ) Minor chips to fingers.He has on a antique lovely white fine cotton christening gown with delicate lace and embroidery anglaise detail in good condition.Hes a handsome chap and a really good small size for another doll to hold and set the scene, Please study the photos carefully as they form a large part of the description.
