(Internal #EL19-1) This is a VINTAGE CIGAR HINGED-TOP BOX, Alligator hide.American Alligator brown leather hide over wood, vintage cigar box, measures 12” long x 6-1/2” wide x 2-5/8” tall.Inside is wood carved for cigarillos, with leather strap across top lid to hold them in. Divider on bottom half into 4 parts, one part full depth, one part with curved.Slots for cigars, 3rd slot full depth, 4th section short and curved.No place for a latch, made without one.Estimated ...age: 1930’sAcquired in an antique store in TexasCondition: excellent. Apparent glue mark inside bottom left-hand compartment; minor wear front right corner of leather, and back two corners.Weight: 1 pound 11.5 ounces.
