Turquoise and Sterling Silver Pendant on a Sterling Silver Necklace
A large, natural blue turquoise gemstone with quartz and pyrite inclusions in a sterlingsetting with applique cactus flowers is the centerpiece of this Navajo pendant. The turquoise gemstone is hand polished and saw-tooth bezel-set.The pendant was handmade by Navajo artisan Sharon Cisco and carries her hallmark.Paired with her pendant is an 18" sterling silver snake nec...klace made in Italy.The pendant and necklace are in very good, as-found condition.>>w<< The pendant and necklace have not been cleaned or polished, just wiped off with a jewelers rouge before pictures were taken. As a vintage piece, the pendant has all the aspects of pre-owned jewelry, such as fine scratches, light wear and tarnish. There are no major dents, dings or flaws unless noted.Keep in mind that turquoise has natural 'birthmarks'. Birthmarks include the matrix, quartz inclusions, crevices, pits, chips and other natural occurrences.
