Here we have a superb quality vintage block meerschaum estate pipe in the straight 'army' style, with a lovely 'aboriginal' style finish to the meerschaum.
It is simply stamped "F" on the underside of the shank.
I think it may possibly be a Peterson second, as it is fitted with a 'p-lip' stem, and the aboriginal finish is one commonly used by Peterson for their meerschaums.
That said, I can't see any reason why it would have been rejected.
It is unsmoked and in m...int condition.
The stem fixes very securely to the shank, and air flows through the pipe freely.
